In celebration of the 52nd World Communications Day (Ascension Sunday), the RCAM Social Communications Ministry organized a mini film fest dubbed, “Faith Lens 2018: Proclaiming the Faith in One Minute.” The theme of the videos was based on Pope Francis’ message for this year’s World Communications Day grounded on the passage, “The truth will set you free.” – John 8:32, which aims to combat fake news and promote peaceful journalism.
The Faith Lens 2018 awarding took place last May 12, 2018 at the Arzobispado de Manila in Intramuros. Our very own video entry, “Rear View” took home the Best in Technical Concept and 2nd Runner-up awards. Hats off to the cast and crew, who despite a short span of preparation time were able to deliver a video carrying the message of this year’s World Communications Day.
